Location: Redbridge

Salary:PAYE: £13.70 per hour/Umbrella: £17.07 per hour

Term: 20 weeks initially

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives? Our client is seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join their team. As a Children Centre Early Years Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the core offer of the Children Centre by providing high-quality services aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Children Centres and Early Years Play and Development (EYPaD) Centre Teams to deliver outstanding services for children and families.
  • Facilitate groups for families with children under 5 years, following the Development Matters and EYFS framework.
  • Identify families who may require additional support and connect them with local services.
  • Offer parents advice and guidance to optimise their visits and promote home learning.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve Development Matters outcomes and objectives in line with their strategies and action plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role working with children.
  • A passion for early years education and a desire to make a difference.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of the EYFS framework and Development Matters.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
