The Role:
As a Classroom Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the academic development of children within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will plan, deliver, and assess creative and challenging lessons, ensuring every student receives a tailored education that supports their individual learning needs. The school encourages a cooperative approach, where you will work alongside staff, parents, and external professionals to deliver a high-quality education for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students, ensuring inclusive practices are embedded throughout your teaching.
- Differentiate lessons and activities to cater to diverse learning needs, providing support for students with varying abilities and needs.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels respected and empowered to engage and succeed.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents to support their ongoing development.
- Work closely with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching strategies and resources to promote a collaborative learning environment.
- Contribute to the school's commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe, nurturing environment for every student.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in a Primary school setting is preferred but not essential.
- A passion for teaching and a deep commitment to encouraging an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and an ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and lesson delivery.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the school's mission and values.
