Early Childhood Practitioner - Supporting Families and Young Children

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Childhood Practitioner to join a dedicated team providing essential support to families with children from birth to five years old. This role is part of a multidisciplinary team that works closely with family engagement workers, family support professionals, and various health and community partners, including speech and language therapists, CAMHS, and Turkish/Kurdish community link workers.

The role involves delivering universal services and sessions to support families, offering guidance through one-to-one appointments, and addressing key concerns such as housing, childcare, and parenting challenges. Working alongside midwives, antenatal and postnatal advice is provided at designated sites through scheduled appointments. The ability to engage effectively with families, build trusting relationships, and offer tailored support is essential to ensuring positive early childhood development.

This is a part-time position, working 28 hours per week within a flexible schedule that includes weekday and alternating Saturday delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and families, a strong understanding of early childhood development, and a passion for supporting communities.
