Tradewind Education Recruitment is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced EYFS Phase Lead to join a thriving primary school in Islington. This full-time role is perfect for a passionate and skilled EYFS specialist looking to take the next step in their career and lead the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department.

• Leading the EYFS department, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning across Nursery and Reception.

• Overseeing curriculum planning, assessment, and the delivery of the EYFS framework.

• Supporting and mentoring EYFS teachers and staff to maintain high standards of early childhood education.

• Working closely with SLT, SENCO, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all children.

• Creating an inclusive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young learners.

• At least 4 years of experience teaching within the EYFS curriculum.

• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing staff.

• A deep understanding of early years pedagogy, child development, and best practices.

• Proven ability to drive progress and improve outcomes in EYFS.

• A QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is essential.

• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

• MPS/UPS salary with TLR available, reflecting leadership responsibilities.
