Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or Above) - Westminster Prep School

A prestigious preparatory school in Westminster is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or above) to join their Nursery team. About the Role:

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the Nursery and Reception classes, working closely with the EYFS team to provide high-quality care and education. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering small-group interventions in early Maths and English.

  • Supporting children's language development and phonics.

  • Creating engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.

  • Assisting with observations and assessments to track pupil progress.

  • Encouraging a love of learning through play-based activities.

Requirements:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).

  • Experience working in an EYFS setting, ideally within a prep school or independent school.

  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and best practices in early childhood education.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A proactive and nurturing approach to supporting young learners.

This role requires an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
