We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Nurse for a nursery in Wandsworth, to start ASAP.. This role requires a passionate individual with a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
Day-to-day of the role:- Curriculum Implementation:Â Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all children, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Child Development: Observe and assess each child’s progress, maintaining accurate records and planning next steps to support their development.
- Environment Management:Â Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education, sharing best practices and supporting each other’s professional growth.
- Parental Engagement: Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and involving them in their child’s learning journey.
- Safeguarding:Â Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of all children in your care.
- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
- Proven experience in an early years setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication abilities, both with children and adults.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education, creativity in activity planning, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
