We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Nurse for a nursery in Wandsworth, to start ASAP.. This role requires a passionate individual with a genuine enthusiasm for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Curriculum Implementation: Plan and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all children, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Child Development: Observe and assess each child’s progress, maintaining accurate records and planning next steps to support their development.
  • Environment Management: Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to care and education, sharing best practices and supporting each other’s professional growth.
  • Parental Engagement: Develop strong partnerships with parents and carers, providing regular feedback and involving them in their child’s learning journey.
  • Safeguarding: Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare and safety of all children in your care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
  • Proven experience in an early years setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Strong communication abilities, both with children and adults.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education, creativity in activity planning, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.
