Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of three dedicated practitioners:Ā Provide guidance, support, and professional development to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Oversee and manage the entire class:Ā Plan, implement, and evaluate a curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children aged 2-4 years.
  • Ensure a nurturing and stimulating environment:Ā Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space that promotes childrenā€™s physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers:Ā Maintain open communication and build strong relationships to support each childā€™s learning journey.
  • Monitor and assess childrenā€™s progress:Ā Use observations and assessments to tailor educational activities and report on developmental milestones.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards:Ā Ensure all practices meet Ofsted and EYFS requirements.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 6 in Childcare or QTS:Ā A recognised qualification in early years education.
  • Proven experience in managing a small team:Ā Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff within an early years setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development:Ā Knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
