Nursery Teacher – Wandsworth – Permanent Contract - September 2024

An Outstanding Nursery School in the London Borough of Wandsworth is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working, and motivated Nursery Teacher to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis from September 2024. 

Job Details – Nursery Teacher:
•    Teaching a Nursery children (3–4-year-olds) 
•    Graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas in their most recent Ofsted report
•    Working alongside a supportive and successful team of ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ Early Years staff
•    Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to EYFS children
•    Up to around £25,000 per annum (actual) – negotiable dependent on candidate
•    Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:15, term-time only
•    Located in the London Borough of Wandsworth

The nursery has a very strong community ethos with both of our children having attended the nursery before moving on to local primary schools and we are always delighted that many families and extended families keep in touch with exciting news of their children.

We consistently invest in training to ensure we really are an inclusive setting and that our team is well qualified to support the development of every child.

Our team of teachers and assistants are happy, enthusiastic and ambitious for each child and this impacts positively so our children leave to start their school lives as confident, intellectually curious learners.

What does the ideal candidate look like for this role?

•    Must be either an experienced Level 3 Qualified EYFS Practitioner or have UK QTS or EYTS
•    The Headteacher is open interviewing experienced Early Years Practitioners who are confident to plan and deliver engaging lessons
•    Confident and inspiring in the classroom 
•    Able to use your own initiative and willing to work as part of a team

Please note that we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time. All applicants must have a UK Level 3 Early Years or Child Care Qualification or have UK Qualified Teacher Status or Early Years Teacher Status awarded by the British Department of Education.

The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
