Are you a qualified and experienced teacher with a passion for early years education? Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Nursery Teacher to join a vibrant primary school nursery in Camden, starting January 2025.

Role Overview

We are seeking a fully qualified teacher (QTS) to take on full classroom responsibilities in a nursery setting. This is a full-time role, requiring a skilled professional with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching and learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports children's development and well-being.
  • Manage and lead the nursery classroom, ensuring high standards of care and education.
  • Monitor and document children's progress, identifying individual learning needs.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the Early Years team to enhance the learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - applicants without QTS will not be considered.
  • Proven experience teaching in a nursery or Early Years setting.
  • A solid understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Background experience as a Nursery Teaching Assistant or Early Years Practitioner is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to undertake one.
