Purpose: To be a member of the team and under the direction of the Headteacher and to contribute to high standards of teaching and learning and the raising of standards of achievement.

Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint an EYFS teacher with the ability to lead on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school in Ealing.

This Southall- based primary school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher that is skilled and confident in teaching the EYFS curriculum. As a school, they are committed to ensuring that teaching and learning opportunities meet the needs of all pupils, ensuring any gaps between the attainment of vulnerable pupils and that of other pupils is narrowed and ultimately closed. They ensure the wellbeing of staff through various initiatives. The school boasts a large ARP unit to support SEN students, including a sensory room and calm room.

About the role:

  • To deliver outstanding teaching and learning at EYFS and therefore help pupils achieve excellent academic results and be a role-model/impact the academy more widely.
  • Plan well-structured lessons in accordance with National Curriculum requirements and other curriculum schemes.
  • To teach, according to their educational needs, the pupils in your class, including the setting and marking of work to be carried out by the pupil in school and elsewhere
  • Assess students and collect relevant data to inform practices
  • Requirements:
  • Must have UK recognised QTS
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
  • Strong understanding of EYFS curriculum
  • Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
  • Must be available full-time from April to July 2024
