A popular community focused C of E primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham are looking for a qualified Reception Primary Teacher to join their school in September.

The Role

In this role you will be taking on class teaching responsibilities for the Reception class. The school are looking for a qualified teacher with previous experience teaching within Early Years. You should have a creative and caring approach with excellent communication skills. You will work closely with teachers and support staff within the Early Years team and although a one-form entry school, you will have the advantage of planning and preparing learning activities with the team as a whole. Your role will include completing learning journals as assessments and you will have regular contact with parents and carers. 

This Reception Teacher role is offered on a contract basis from September 2024 to July 2025 with the potential to become a permanent contract. You will also be required to lead a subject which can be negotiable according to your preference and the role will be paid to scale, up to MPS6.

This Church of England primary school is situated close to Putney Bridge in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.  The school is popular within the local community and there is good parental support for the school. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes first hand experiences to challenge, motivate and include all pupils. Staff at the school are welcoming and friendly. As a 1 form entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the phase work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups.
