    An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Walthamstow, are looking for a reception teacher to join their school ASAP.

    The Role

    In this role you will be taking over the Reception class in the school as their full-time class teacher. You should have a good knowledge of teaching within the Early Years and an engaging and positive teaching style. You will be teaching daily phonics lessons, maths and topic based projects over the term incorporating literacy and the seven areas of learning and development. Observation and assessment recording is standardised so all staff are able to complete this.

    The school are looking for a teacher with good experience in EYFS, with a calm and focused approach to teaching. This role is to starts ASAP and is offered on a contract basis until July 2024 and will be paid to scale from day one.

    The School

    The school which you will based in is located close mainland rail stations with local bus links and parking. As a 2 form entry site, teachers and teaching assistants within the year group work closely together in planning and assessment for their respective year groups. The school is popular within the local community and there is a culture of working closely with parents. They have a focus on closing the gap for disadvantaged pupils and provide a broad range of extra-curriculum opportunities.
