Senior Early Years Practitioner | Westminster W2 | £95-£120 per day | Full-time | Long-Term to Permanent | Starting September 2024

LTF Recruitment is excited to offer a new opportunity for a Senior Early Years Practitioner eager to transition into a school setting. This role is ideal for Nursery Room Leaders or Senior Nursery Practitioners looking for the next step in their career within a vibrant primary school in Westminster. You will be key in delivering high-quality early years education within the Reception class, supporting children aged 4-5 as they take their first steps into formal schooling. Working closely with the Early Years team, you will ensure children receive the care and developmental opportunities they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and implementation of creative, engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Lead and mentor support staff, ensuring best practices are consistently followed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community.
  • Ensure the classroom is a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Monitor children's progress and collaborate with teaching staff to address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher.
  • Experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner in a nursery.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
  • A passion for transitioning into a school environment.
