Senior Early Years Family Practitioner Needed, Kensington and ChelseaLocation: Various Locations within the BoroughSalary Grade: Range FAre you passionate about supporting families and young children in the community? We are seeking a dedicated Senior Early Years Family Practitioner to plan, deliver, and evaluate community and centre-based activities to support children's learning, development, and health. This role also involves providing parenting advice and support to help parents develop positive skills for school readiness and transitions.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver a variety of age-appropriate activities to engage children and families.Support parents with advice on child development, behaviour, nutrition, and health, ensuring a positive impact on school readiness.Identify and engage with at-risk families, providing home visits where necessary.Support the delivery of an Early Education and Childcare strategy, particularly focusing on school readiness, funded childcare uptake, and helping parents return to work.Work closely with other agencies, including health professionals, to ensure families receive the integrated support they need.Ensure early identification of children with additional needs and facilitate smooth transitions to school.Collect data and contribute to performance management to measure the impact of services.Essential Criteria:Level 3 qualification in early education or childcare, working towards Level 4.Proven experience in supporting families, child development, and safeguarding practices.Strong communication and organisational skills, with a creative and proactive approach to engaging families.Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.DBS disclosure is required.We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, empathetic, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
