Role:Ā Lead Early Years PractitionerAge Group:Ā 2 ā 4 years oldStart Date:Ā ASAPType of Role:Ā PermanentHours:Ā 7:45am ā 16:45 Monday ā Friday, Term-Time OnlySalary:Ā Ā£34,468 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of three dedicated practitioners:Ā Provide guidance, support, and professional development to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Oversee and manage the entire class:Ā Plan, implement, and evaluate a curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children aged 2-4 years.
- Ensure a nurturing and stimulating environment:Ā Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning space that promotes childrenās physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers:Ā Maintain open communication and build strong relationships to support each childās learning journey.
- Monitor and assess childrenās progress:Ā Use observations and assessments to tailor educational activities and report on developmental milestones.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards:Ā Ensure all practices meet Ofsted and EYFS requirements.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 6 in Childcare or QTS:Ā A recognised qualification in early years education.
- Proven experience in managing a small team:Ā Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff within an early years setting.
- Strong understanding of child development:Ā Knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
