1:1 Teaching Assistant

• ???�? Provide tailored, one-on-one support to a student, helping them engage with classwork and develop key skills.
• �? Adapt teaching materials to suit the student’s individual needs and learning style.
• ?? Support the student with both academic and social skills, fostering confidence and independence.
• ?? Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to implement strategies and monitor progress.
• ?? Assist in creating a positive and inclusive environment, helping the student feel comfortable and valued.
• �? Encourage participation in classroom activities and support social interactions with peers.

• �? Previous experience in a teaching assistant or 1:1 support role is preferred, particularly with SEN experience.
• ?? Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills, with an understanding of the challenges students with additional needs may face.
• ?? Ability to adapt and personalize learning strategies to engage the student effectively.
• �? A team-oriented approach, ready to collaborate with staff and build positive relationships with the student and their family.
