We are looking a ADHD Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in South East London. As an ADHD You will be delivering the best one-to-one support to a year 5 boy.

This is fantastic Primary school stands out as a beacon of excellence and prosperity. Renowned for its dedicated and passionate staff, the school offers a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges, preferably in an educational or special education setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques, positive reinforcement strategies, and de-escalation methods.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build positive relationships with students, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.

Requirement:

  • Must have strong SEN Experience (Preferably ASD and ADHD)
  • Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service (Not mandatory as we can provide one)
  • Some knowledge of strategies in working with young people with challenging behaviours
  • Minimum 9 months experience working in a school setting
