A large primary school in Greenwich is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 students with ASD and challenging bevahiour.

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (ASD):

  • Provide tailored support to children with ASD, helping them develop communication, social, and emotional skills
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups, delivering structured learning activities
  • Assist with behaviour management and support students in their daily routines
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals to ensure a positive learning experience

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with autism or additional needs
  • A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to support, education and training
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
