We awe are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Autism Classroom Assistant to join our leading OFSTED mainstream Primary schools in Greenwich, South East London. As an Autism classroom Assistant you will be supporting KS2 students within a group setting. The ideal Autism Classroom Assistant will be someone willing to shape the future of young pupil's mind and make a positive impact to students.

The ideal Autism Classroom Assistant:

  • Has experience working with children and young people with special needs.
  • Has personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs.
  • A positive, proactive, and patient individual who has a can-do attitude and is willing to learn.
  • A team player and has great communication skills.
  • Being able to build good working relationships with students and staff.

The ideal Autism Classroom Assistant responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in a health care setting is Essential as you will be looking after vulnerable individuals.
  • Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service (registered online) or you must be able to do a new DBS.
  • Successful candidates will be contacted via email or phone.
  • Please note that candidates are responsible for the cost of their own DBS Certificate.
