A fantastic, creative and friendly Primary School in the London Borough of Greenwich is looking to recruit a Classroom Assistant. The Classroom Assistant role is a full time and long-term role, for a January 2025 start.

As a Classroom Assistant, you will be working with Primary School children, with a range of SEN needs. As a Classroom Assistant, you will be supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism / ASD, ADHD, children with SEMH and children with behavioural difficulties.

This Classroom Assistant opportunity is the ideal role for a graduate looking for experience to support their future career working with children. This Classroom Assistant position would be perfect for Psychology graduates seeking a full time Classroom Assistant role, supporting children with a range of SEN.

• Classroom Assistant
• Supporting children with a range of SEN across year groups
• Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
• Based in Greenwich
• January 2025 Start
• Full Time & Long Term
• 105 - 110 per day

Person Specification - Classroom Assistant

• Must have a good degree from a reputable University
• Good understanding of SEN is required
• Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
• Passionate about supporting children with SEN
• You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
• Calm and compassionate nature
