Tradewind Education Agency is seeking passionate and experienced Early Years professionals to support schools and nurseries starting January 2025. We have multiple roles available, offering full-time and daily supply (3 - 5 days a week) opportunities.

Key Details:

  • Positions: Nursery Teaching Assistants and Early Years Practitioners (Level 2 & 3)
  • Locations: Various nurseries and primary schools in Islington
  • Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications

  • Relevant Early Years or Education Qualifications
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
  • CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education
  • NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • Early Childhood Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • Paediatric First Aid Certificate (often essential for Early Years roles).
  • Safeguarding Training (knowledge or certification in child protection policies).

Experience

  • Experience in Childcare or Teaching - Previous experience in a nursery, reception, or primary school setting, Ability to manage groups of children and plan activities.
  • Knowledge of EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) framework and how to implement it in practice.
  • Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs) support is advantageous.
