About Us:

We are working with a well-established primary school in Southwark who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team. The schools is committed to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the new cohort of children, and I'm looking for an individual who is passionate about EYFS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the classroom teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Provide one-on-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) when required.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working within the EYFS framework.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation.
  • Desirable: Experience working with children with SEN within an EYFS setting.
