Early Years Teaching Assistant

Sanza Teaching Agency are currently seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant Nursery School in West Dulwich, London. This full-time position is available ASAP and will run until at least July 2024. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of children in their Early Years as a Teaching Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, developmentally appropriate lessons within the Early Years framework to foster children's creativity, curiosity, and early learning.
  • Create a stimulating and nurturing Nursery environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn.
  • Work closely with fellow practitioners and leadership to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Promote and support children's social, emotional, and academic development within the Early Years setting.
  • Maintain positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents to ensure a collaborative and caring Nursery environment.
  • Follow all policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the Early Years setting.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in Early Years or within a Nursery environment is essential.
  • Level 3 Early Years Education and Care, or a similar relevant qualification
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its application within the Nursery.
  • A creative and nurturing approach to teaching, with a focus on promoting the social, emotional, and academic growth of Early Years children.
