A welcoming Primary School in Kensington & Chelsea is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference in their educational journey.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons and activities that promote learning through play.
  • Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and social development to help children build strong foundational skills.
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to students, ensuring they stay engaged and make progress in their learning.
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
  • Observing and documenting children’s development to support their learning journeys.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • A passion for working with young children and a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and development.
  • Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
