About the Role:
As an English Teaching Assistant, you will assist in the delivery of English lessons and support students in their reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging English lessons.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students needing extra help.
- Encouraging students to develop a love for reading and writing.
- Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Helping students to improve their literacy and communication skills.
What We Are Looking For:
- A strong interest in English and a desire to work in education.
- Experience working with students, ideally in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Patience, creativity, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Relevant qualifications or a background in English is an advantage.
