Empowering Learning are seeking teaching assistants that are looking for an exciting new challenge working with students with emotional behavioural difficulties.

We are looking for candidates with experience of working with children with emotional behavioural disorders (EBD), social emotional mental health difficulties (SEMH) and other challenging behaviours.

You will be required to work with students across all ages in one of our SEMH / EBD schools, alternative provisions, PRUs or Primary Schools.

The correct candidate will be in a class of up to 8 students with SEMH statements and will be responsible for the behaviour support, learning and progress of these students.

Do you have?

  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
  • Recent experience with children with EBD, SEMH and other challenging behaviours?

If you are from a Psychology, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, Life Coach or Mentoring background and you feel you have the right knowledge and training to make a difference we would love to hear from you.

The successful applicants will require an enhanced DBS check and references will be taken up before interview.
