Are you an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant primary school? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Supply EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wood Green, Haringey from April 2025.

Role Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a full-time, term-time only basis. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, you will assist with classroom activities, support children's learning and development, and ensure a positive and nurturing environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to children in EYFS.
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, ensuring all children are engaged.
  • Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions.
  • Help with phonics sessions, early literacy, and numeracy activities.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (nursery, reception, or primary school).
  • A good understanding of child development and early learning strategies.
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
