Are you an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a vibrant primary school? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Supply EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wood Green, Haringey from April 2025.

Role Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) on a full-time, term-time only basis. Working Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, you will assist with classroom activities, support children's learning and development, and ensure a positive and nurturing environment for all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to children in EYFS.
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, ensuring all children are engaged.
Support children's social and emotional development through positive interactions.
Help with phonics sessions, early literacy, and numeracy activities.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (nursery, reception, or primary school).
A good understanding of child development and early learning strategies.
A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
