Job Description:
Reed Education is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a prestigious Prep School in Dulwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about working with young children and supporting their early development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and inclusive EYFS curriculum.
- Engage with children in a positive and upbeat manner, fostering a love for learning.
- Support individual and group activities, ensuring all children are included and encouraged.
- Help create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel valued and supported.
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays.
- Monitor and record children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Level 2 certificate in childcare.
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting is highly desirable.
- A positive, energetic, and engaging approach to working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
