We are looking for the following as a Gifted and Talented Teaching Assistant:
- A graduate from a Russell group university - achieving a 1st Class or 2:1 Classification
- Strong Academic Track Record - A-Bs at A-Level etc
- An intense passion and desire to inspire young people
- A deep understanding of challenges pupils face from aforementioned backgrounds
- Long-term ambitions to work within education whether that's: Teaching, Education Policy / Research, Lecturing, Educational Psychology or similar ambitions
- Resilience, positivity and a can-do attitude in the face of day-to-day challenges
- Personality is VITAL - consider yourself a social butterfly? This is what we're after!

The purpose of these positions is to simply encourage and inspire pupils. There is no glass ceiling at this Tower Hamlets secondary school. Every pupil strives to be the best version of themselves and it's your role to help facilitate this mindset in every pupil you work with, inside and outside of the classroom.
These Gifted and Talented Teaching Assistant roles are due to start either ASAP or in January 2025. You will work 5 days per week (Monday - Friday), school hours, typically 8:30am - 4:00pm. Further details can be given once your application has been submitted and you are shortlisted for the role.
