Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEN School - Hackney

Role: Teaching Assistant

Location: Hackney

Salary: £83.33 - £110 per day

Contract: Full / Part Time, Long Term Contract

Start date: ASAP

We are looking for a exceptional, highly motivated graduate Teaching Assistant who possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can work well with diverse staff and pupil groups. The successful candidate will have patience, commitment, and a willingness to work in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Our ideal candidate - Graduate Teaching Assistant

Our ideal Teaching Assistant should be a recent graduate or have at least a NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience, showcasing proficiency in delivering pastoral interventions for learners with SEN, collaborative teamwork, and effective communication within the school team.

The candidate should blend professional expertise with emotional resilience for effective pastoral care and will ideally have experience in Restorative Approaches and a willingness to undergo Positive Handling training.
