Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants for primary schools in West London, with roles starting as soon as possible and January 2025. These are full-time, long-term positions (8:30 am - 4:00 pm, term-time only).
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Be dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals.
- Encourage students to engage proactively with their learning.
- Support the creation of a safe and supportive environment for students to thrive.
- Assist the teacher with students' learning, development, and behaviour management, promoting positive behaviour at all times.
Ideal candidates will:
- Have some experience working with young people (desirable but not essential), or be looking to further your career in education as a teacher (e.g., considering a year out before pursuing a PGCE or Masters).
- Hold a degree in any subject area (graduates from all disciplines are welcome to apply).
- Have transferable skills and experience working with children or young people, which would be an asset to the role.
- Ideally, have experience or knowledge of working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
