We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant secondary school in Greenwich. This exciting opportunity is ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting, with a focus on supporting students in their learning and development. The role will start immediately and is a long-term, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with varying levels of academic ability.
- Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons.
- Support students' social and emotional development within the classroom environment.
- Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to the learning process.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary.
Requirements:
- A degree in any subject (Essential).
- Previous child-based experience is preferred, but not required.
- A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- DBS on the Update Service (Essential).
