JDS Recruitment are currently recruiting for sixLearning Support Assistants or Higher Learning Teaching Assistants to work on a full-time basis at our all-through SEND school based in Newham, East Ham from January 2025!

- To support students in KS1 - KS4 with Social Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

- To start January 2025

- Must be available to work full-time (term-time only) - Monday to Friday.

- This is a very challenging role and due to the severity of the student’s needs, they are prone to swearing and violence.

- The school will assign you to work on a 1:1 basis with either a primary or secondary student dependant on experience and intended teaching specialism within primary or secondary teaching.

- Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm

- Nearest Station: East Ham with excellent transport & parking links.

- Must have at least 3 months school experience working with students with severe challenging behaviour.

- The daily pay rate is £100.00

- Team Teach or sports coaching background will be an advantage.

- Must be able to commit for the full academic year to progress onto become either a HLTA or qualified teacher!
