Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, as a vital member of the classroom team, you will:
- Provide ongoing support to the teacher within your assigned classroom.
- Conduct one-to-one and/or small group sessions to facilitate student progress.
- Deliver tuition and booster sessions, especially for pupils with lower ability or Educational Health and Care (EHC) Plans.
- Engage in reading sessions and offer numeracy and literacy support.
Qualifications and Attributes
- A Degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience working with students, such as youth work, teaching assistant roles, university ambassadorship, graduate tutoring, etc.
- Passion for working in a school environment.
- Ambitious, with a strong yet outgoing and warm personality.
- Flexibility, adaptability, proactivity, and enthusiasm are imperative.
