Position: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Contract: Full-time, term-time only

Daily Pay: £120

Trial Period: September

Start Date: 7th October

What You'll Do:

Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic lessons across multiple subjects.

Student Engagement: Offer tailored support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they stay engaged and succeed.

Leading Small Groups: Take charge of small group activities and interventions, helping students achieve their learning targets.

Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour strategies to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Assess and Adapt: Track student progress, give valuable feedback, and contribute to individualised learning plans.

Admin Support: Assist with marking, organising student records, and preparing learning materials.

Classroom Cover: Step in to lead classes when teachers are absent, ensuring seamless learning.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support students' academic and emotional well-being.

About You:

Qualifications: HLTA qualification or extensive teaching assistant experience.

Experience: Previous experience in a primary school setting, with a solid understanding of primary education and curriculum.

Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to engage and motivate students.

Flexibility: Comfortable working across different year groups and subjects.

Commitment: A strong passion for education and helping students reach their full potential.
