Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding short-term role? Our partner primary school is seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN TA to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the Role:
  • Provide individualised support to a KS1 child with ASD to help them access learning and reach their full potential.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and behaviour plans.

  • Create a nurturing, structured, and consistent environment to support emotional regulation and engagement.

  • Monitor and track progress, contributing to daily observations and EHCP targets.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience supporting children with ASD in a school setting.

  • Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum and SEND strategies.

  • Patient, calm, and flexible approach with excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, from May until the end of the academic year (July).
