About Us:

We are working with an inclusive school in the vibrant borough of Southwark. They are committed to developing lifelong learners and as such are looking for an experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 2. If you have the experience and a keen interest in SEN, please read on!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be able to engage SEN pupils
  • Have high expectations and can deliver engaging learning.
  • Experience of supporting pupils in Key Stage 2.
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Help out in the after school provision once a week.
  • Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with pupils with dyslexia
  • Knowledge: Understanding of supporting SEN pupils
  • Desirable: Experience working with SEN children
