KS5 Media/Art – Teaching Assistant
Location: Norwood
Pay: £100 - £110 per day
Contract: Part-time (4 days per week)

We are excited to partner with a SEMH College in Norwood who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) with a specialism in Media/Art to support their post-16 cohort. If you're passionate about working with young adults, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Essential Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and several years of experience in the field.
  • Proven experience supporting post-16 students, including those with additional educational needs.
  • Competence in supporting KS5 Art/Media pathways, with an ability to work closely with students on our Art and Media courses.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • A background or qualifications in Art/Media to better support our KS5 curriculum.
  • A patient, empathetic approach, focused on promoting both the personal and academic growth of young adults.
  • Experience supporting students in their transitions to further education, training, or employment.
