Location: Kensington, LondonPosition: Level 3 Teaching AssistantClass: ReceptionStart Date: March 2025About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant Reception class in Kensington.We are looking for a passionate individual who is committed to supporting young children's learning and development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Support children's learning and development through a variety of activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support for children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and record children's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Help with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience working with young children, preferably in a Reception class.
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with children.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
