Responsibilities:
- As a Maths Teaching Assistant you will support the teaching and learning of mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Provide one-to-one or small group intervention sessions to help students grasp complex concepts.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging maths lessons.
- Collaborate with the maths department to develop resources and strategies for improving student attainment.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements for a Maths Teaching Assistant:
- A strong academic background in mathematics (A-level or equivalent minimum; degree preferred).
- A genuine enthusiasm for education and working with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a classroom setting or working with children (desirable but not essential).
