Nursery Assistant - Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: 13.85-15.50 per hour depending on experience
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

A welcoming and well-established nursery in Tower Hamlets is looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified early years professional to support children's development in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Assistant:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities following the EYFS framework
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for young learners
- Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child's needs are met
- Maintain accurate observations and records of children's progress
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed
Requirements for a Nursery Assistant:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to childcare
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
