Role Overview:
- As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will be essential in supporting the nursery class, helping to create a stimulating and safe learning atmosphere for the children. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the nursery teacher in planning and delivering engaging educational activities as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
- Provide tailored support for children with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met by the Nursery Teaching Assistant.
- Create a warm, inclusive, and safe environment for all children
- Help with personal care routines and support children's well-being
- Maintain records of children's progress and behavioural observations as part of your responsibilities as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working in early years settings as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
- A strong passion for supporting children with SEN, crucial for a successful Nursery Teaching Assistant.
- Have a upbeat and personable personality who forms quick rapports with children, staff and parents
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A caring and positive approach to children's development and well-being
