Pastoral Assistant | Ealing, W13 | £95-£110 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term to Permanent Opportunity | ASAP

We are looking for a Pastoral Assistant to work with and develop students, academically, socially and morally to have increased success in the mainstream classroom environment. An inclusive PRU in Ealing are seeking a dedicated Learning Pastoral Assistant to work across multiple subjects, enhancing learning and fostering positive behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer one-on-one and small group assistance across multiple subjects
  • Implement customised interventions to foster positive behaviour and active participation.
  • Work alongside teachers to modify learning materials to suit individual student needs.
  • Develop trusting relationships with students to support their academic and emotional growth.
  • Assist students in overcoming learning obstacles and building resilience.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience with behavioural challenges and alternative provisions, (SEN), would be beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a calm and patient approach.
  • The ability to build a trusting relationship with empathy and patience is essential.
  • A dedication to inclusive practices ensures all students feel valued, safe and supported in their learning journey.
