GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in White City. This position is within a secondary school setting, offering the opportunity to support students in their academic and social development. You will work closely with the school’s Head of Inclusion and Senior TA, contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and support students to achieve their potential.
  • Assist teachers in planning learning activities and preparing learning materials.
  • Provide First Aid and meet the personal care needs of students when necessary.
  • Contribute to annual review planning for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and outside agencies to ensure effective communication.
  • Support students in class, small group, and one-to-one settings.
  • Implement tailored support programmes under the guidance of professionals such as teachers, educational psychologists, and speech & language therapists.
  • Assist with classroom management, resource organisation, and the physical learning environment.
