Location: SW18, Greater London

We are looking for a supportive PMLD Teaching Assistant in Wandsworth working with a year 8 girl 1:1 with severe Autism. The child is verbal but low functioning and would need you to support her using PECS. As a PMLD Teaching Assistant you will be liaising with other education professionals, utilising various SEND strategies to best this pupil.

Ideal PMLD Teaching Assistant:

  • Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student.

PMLD Teaching Assistant Standard Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN ideally PMLD.
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) professional reference checks.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
