Are you a passionate and motivated Psychology Graduate with a genuine desire to support children with Special Educational Needs in a SEN school setting? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the support staff team at a fantastic SEN school in the Westminster area. We are looking for a committed and proactive candidate asap. Throughout the academic year, there is potential for the right candidate to transition into a permanent position with the secondary school supporting children with SEN.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised SEN support to children with special educational needs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to create tailored learning plans.
  • Implement interventions to address behavioural challenges and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor progress and evaluate intervention effectiveness.
  • Deliver one-on-one and small group sessions to develop essential skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Prior experience in special education or a similar setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
