Room Leader
An independent day nursery in Wandsworth are currently recruiting for a Senior Nursery Practitioner / Room Leader.
The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 12 months Room Leader / Nursery Practitioner experience, being able to demonstrate a sound understanding of both the Early Years Foundation Stage and practices.
Position Details
Your role:
- Supporting the nursery team to provide an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop
- Promoting and ensuring a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment
- Planning and delivering activities to extend and support childrens development and learning outcomes
- Organising and overseeing team meetings
What you will need:
- An NNEB, CACHE, EYT or an equivalent Nursery Practitioner / Teaching qualification
- An understanding of the EYFS, planning and assessment procedures
- An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
