SEMH Teaching Assistant - KS1 - Ealing

As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be working with a child in Year 1, who is new to the school. You will be working with the child on a 1:1 and small group basis to support with academic, social and emotional progress.

JOB DESCRIPTION - SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • Contributing to the child’s social, emotional and academic progress
  • Working alongside a fantastic team of teachers & support staff
  • Long Term & Full Time - until at least July 2025
  • £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

PERSON SPECIFICATION - SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • Must have a Degree from a reputable University
  • Good understanding of SEN is required
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, would be ideal
  • You must be able to work effectively as part of a large team
  • Calm, caring and committed to working with children with SEN
  • Must be able to use your own initiative - in & out of the classroom
