A lovely primary school in Bermondsey are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible for the rest of the academic year to support children in the  

The Role

In this role you will be based in the nursery class within the school supporting pupils with autism. There has been a larger than average intake of pupils with Special Educational Needs and therefore the school are looking for an additional SEN Teaching Assistant to focus supporting these pupils. Your role will be a combination of some 1 to 1 support as well as leading small groups and supporting the children with additional needs to integrate and access play-based learning. You will work alongside teaching staff, the SEN team, external support agencies and the family to ensure the children have the support they require. 

The school are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant with previous experience in early years and an understanding of supporting children with SEND.
